Dublin Livestock and friends are gearing up for our Third Annual Calves For Kids Fundraiser this Friday (Dec. 16) during the regular sale at 11 a.m.
DLA released the following information regarding the fundraiser:
“How it works is donated cattle are sold, or donated money is used, to buy presents and clothes for children around the community.
“Last year, over $10,000 was raised to bring kids a very Merry Christmas for our Dublin, Stephenville, De Leon, and Hico Schools.
“This is a special event for us, as we partner with our local schools to put all the proceeds exactly where they should be before the holidays.
“From now until December 16th we will have a spot to drop off cash and/or unopened toys at the Dublin Livestock barn.
“Fundraiser will be Friday, December 16th at Dublin Livestock Auction, in conjunction with our normal Friday sale.
