The Dublin Economic Development Corp., meeting in regular session on Tuesday, approved two Home Improvement Grant applications.
Barbara Poplin was awarded $350.52 for improvements to her home at 402 W. Live Oak. Chase Timmons received $3,000 for a house at 423 W. Mesquite.
In other recent grant activities, the board approved a request from Steve Hightower for $746.87 for plate glass window replacement at 111 S. Patrick. The board also approved $2,475 for Hightower’s lighted sign for Dublin Insurance at 119 S. Patrick and $585 for window signage at his Titan Fitness building at 125 S. Patrick.
The board also approved a grant for $5,000 for painting and other exterior improvements for the Dublin Bottling Works warehouse at 403 E. Blackjack.
The board awarded a $4,000 Historical Home Improvement grant to Brooke Mendenhall for her home at 404 N. Patrick and a $3,000 Home Improvement grant for Mac McKinnon for his home at 320 Hoffman.
