presented to the CCMC-CCCHD health system Legacy Campaign a $100,000 donation. The funds were raised during the Foundation’s annual fall fundraising period to support the construction costs of the new long-term care center. The nursing home is under construction adjacent to the CCMC Hospital at 10201 TX-16, between De Leon and Comanche. Holding the check are from left, Mark Beaty, CCHF Board President, Joe Locke, CCCHD Board President, and Dr. Larry Troxell, CCMC CEO. They’re joined by many members of the all-volunteer Foundation board. The Legacy Campaign has been successful in raising to date nearly $830,000 in cash gifts for the nursing home. Committee members, and Foundation and health system board members continue to appeal to the community to give to the campaign and help close out the construction phase of the fundraising campaign.
