Comanche County Healthcare Foundation, headed by Mark Beaty, last week presented a $30,000 check to Comanche County Medical Center CEO Dr. Larry Troxell to help pay for surgical and anesthesia equipment. The money was part of the proceeds from the 20-20-A Vision for the Future annual fundraiser conducted by the Foundation in September. The fundraiser also helped pay for a catered lunch for all hospital district staff members. Also representing the hospital staff for the photo was Junior Pacheco. Members of the Foundation board are Wilma Fleming, Doylene Evans, LaVerne Walker, Kristine Bremer, Pam Simon, Mac McKinnon, Harold Adcock, Margie Gleaton, Doug Erwin, Rick Howard, Debbie Johnston, Jennifer Cisneroz and Jamie Tunnell. The foundation has raised more than $900,000 in the past 14 years to help pay for equipment for patient care.
