Like many other businesses, the Dublin Citizen office will be closed for the Christmas holiday.
The newspaper will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 26 and will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27.
Many other city and county offices will also be closed on Monday, Dec. 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday.
For those looking for a service to celebrate the reason for the season many opportunities are available both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Laurel Street United Methodist Church will be hosting a Christmas Eve service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
The church is located at 503 Laurel Street in Dublin.
Trinity Church in Dublin will celebrate Christmas Eve Mass at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
The church is located at 459 N. Patrick Street.
The First Methodist Church of Dublin will be hosting a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. There will be a reception following the service. Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said.
The church is located at 630 Highland Avenue.
First Baptist Church will be hosting a Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. They will also host an abbreviated service Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
The church is located at 220 E. Live Oak Street.
Green’s Creek Baptist Church will be hosting its annual Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24.
Double N Cowboy Church in Dublin will be hosting a Christmas Candlelight service at 10 a.m. Christmas morning, Dec. 25.
The church is located at 7202 E. State Hwy 6 between Dublin and Hico.
Cross Timbers Church of Christ in Stephenville will be hosting a special service of scripture readings and Christmas carols recounting the birth of Christ from 1011 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25 on Christmas Day.
The church is located at 1515 W. Cedar St in Stephenville.
Many churches will also be hosting regular services on Sunday, Dec. 25.
