The Lingleville PTO will be having a veteran’s breakfast Nov. 10 at the new cafeteria at LISD.

Breakfast will be served from 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., but veterans are welcome to stay until 7:30 a.m.

Kingdom Kids to host open house Kingdom Kids Preschool will be having an open house at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10.

The new playground will be open for the first time and kids will be able to play on it. The event is from 4 to 6 p.m. with light refreshments.

The Comanche County Historical Museum will host its Annual Veterans Day Lunch Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 402 Moorman Rd.

CCMC seeks feedback for services Mr. Bob Ellzey, LFACHE, an experienced hospital executive and consultant with the Texas Organization of Rural & Community Hospitals (TORCH), is conducting on November 9 several one-hour meetings for residents to gather needed perspectives on health needs in the community. The meetings are part of the required assessment process which happens every three years in hospitals across the country. Residents participate in a guided discussion with Ellzey who takes the results, along with other demographic and health data, and presents the key findings to the Board of Directors of Comanche County Medical Center (CCMC). The Board then reviews and selects priority health priorities to address. Resultsof the2020community health assessment process led to the addition of pediatric, mental health, and expanded chronic care services provided by CCMC. Residents, ages 18 and older, are encouraged to participate.
