Big Brothers, Big Sisters Golf Tourney set
A golf tournament fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erath County is set Friday, June 12 at Legends Country Club (137 Ben Hogan, Stephenville).
Entry fees are $500 for each 4-man team in the scramble. Hole sponsorships are available for $150 each.

Clean Car Wash hosting ECHS event
Clean Car Wash is hosting a Funday for Erath County Humane Society Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at 2623 W. Washington in Stephenville. Funds raised by the car wash during the event will go to the ECHS and free hot dogs will be served.
Dandi-Lion Drill Team car wash fundraiser set Saturday, June 13
The Dublin Jr. High Dandi-Lion drill team is hosting a car wash fundraiser Saturday, June 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at O’Reilly Auto Parts (2609 W. Washington).
Fresh lemonade will also be on tap while drill team backers are invited to get their car clean while helping support the dancers’ next season.
“The girls are working hard preparing for camp and next season, and we appreciate all of the community support,” said sponsors on the team’s social media page. “Come see the Junior Dandi-lions and help us make this season a success!”
Summer Activities set for Comanche County Museum
The Comanche County Museum has several activities set for this summer.
Activities include: Arts & Crafts show Friday, June 12 through June 26. All are invited – adults and kids to bring their paintings, drawings, homemade arts and crafts, quilting on a stand, crochet, knitting or cross stitch or rock painting
"We have several rooms and large tables. We would love to display your work," organizers said. Set up of displays will be on Thursday, June 11 until 4 p.m.
The museum is open Thurs. - Sat. from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information call 325- 356- 5115.

Free microchip/vaccines Available
Free Microchip and Vaccines will be offered to cats and dogs thanks to the nonprofit, Petco Love.
The services will be offered at Erath County Human Society (891 East Road, Stephenville) on June 27 from noon - 5p.m., June 29 from 2 p.m.-6 p.m., June 30 from 2 p.m.-6 p.m., July 1 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m., July 2 from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. and July 3 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Adult Co-Ed Softball Tourney benefit set for Smith family
A benefit adult co-ed softball tournament will be held Saturday, June 13 at the Dublin City Park with benefits going to the Smith family.
Entry is $300 per team and each team must have at least six men and four women.
Don't have a team and want to play? Free agents are welcome for $30 each.
Concessions will be available along with other activities throughout the day. The tournament is double elimination.
Sponsors are also allowed and will be recognized throughout the tournament.
