Miracle Treat Day held Thursday at DQ
Dairy Queen in Dublin will be hosting Miracle Treat Day Thursday, July 27.
Help Cook’s Childrens Hospital by pre-ordering small blizzards. For each blizzard sold on July 27, $1 will be donated to help Cook’s.
Each pre-paid Blizzard Card is $4 and can be purchased prior to Thursday, but used any time from Thursday on.
Morgan Mill Freeze Off Saturday
The annual Morgan Mill Ice Cream Freeze Off will be held Saturday, July 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morgan Mill Community Center.
There will be a homemade ice cream contest and a $15 barbecue lunch.
The ice cream contest entry is $20 with a four quart minimum. Funds go toward scholarships and community projects.
There will be door prizes awarded during the event.
Ribbon Cutting set for Saturday
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 29 at the City Park for Wyatt’s Cold Ones, a novelty ice cream catering company from Stephenville owned by Wyatt Ramos.
Everyone is invited to attend this event and welcome Wyatt to Dublin.
Comanche museum to host event
Granny will come visit the Comanche County Museum at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 27.
She will read and tell the story of Black Beauty and Cowboys. Granny will give away a bandana to each child who visits the museum.
Refreshments will be served. The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located at 402 Moorman Road in Comanche. For more information call 325-356-5115.
Blood Drive Aug. 13
There will be a blood drive from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13 in honor of Josie Roman sponsored by the Dublin Rotary Club.
The event will be on the Carter Blood Care buses staged at 825 N. Patrick (The Station).
All donations are appreciated to help the young girl.
Rylan Strong set Aug. 26
Chrome for a Cause, the 2nd annual Rylan Strong Network Car and Bike Show is set from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 26 at Celebration Park in Dublin.

Chamber seeking Teacher gifts
All businesses are welcome and encouraged to attend the Back-to-School Breakfast and Convocation at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Dublin High School.
Businesses who cannot attend can drop items at the Chamber office. Tables can be set up from 8-9 a.m.
