Dublin Auto to host grand opening 
There will be a grand opening celebration from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

Enjoy a hamburger or hotdog and meet the owners and employees of Dublin Auto Repair. Everyone is welcome including old and new customers.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at noon.

The business is located at 950 N. Patrick Street.

Chamber to host ribbon cuttings Saturday
The Dublin Chamber of Commerce will be hosting three ribbon cuttings Saturday, April 13.
A ribbon cutting for Texas Sage willl be held at 10 a.m. at 2554 S. Hwy 6, at 11 a.m. at Wright Park for Dog Gone-It Grooming, a mobile grooming company and noon at Dublin Auto.
The community is welcome to attend all ribbon cuttings and welcome these businesses to the community.

Cross Timbers Got Talent set April 12
Restoration Advocates is hosting a fundraising event  7 p.m. Friday, April 12 at City Hall venue in Stephenville.
They are calling all singers, dancers, musicians and comedians to participate. 
City Hall is located at 1907 East Washington Street.
The talent show will raise funds for shelter and resources for victims of domestic violence.
Tickets are $25 each and available online at restorationadvocates.org. 

Heirloom and Native Plant Sale Saturday
The Stephenville Historical House Museum will host its annual Heirloom and Native Plant Sale Saturday, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
The plant sale is open to everyone and is located at 525 E. Washington St. in Stephenville.

Blood Drive set for Saturday, April 13 
There will be a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 hosted by District 67 Masonic lodges.

The blood drive is at the Stephenville Masonic Lodge No. 267, at 244 S. Columbia in Stephenville.

Mac & Cheese cook off set April 20 
There will be a Mac & Cheese cook off for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erath County at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Bosque River Taphouse, located to 1050 S. Graham Ave. in Stephenville. Email smcneal@bbbstx.org with any questions.

State Board of Education member to speak
Evelyn Brooks, elected representative on the State Board of Education will be in Stephenville this month to speak at the Cross Timbers Republican Woman Lunch and Learn Series from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at the City Hall/City Limits.
Mrs. Evelyn Brooks represents 15 counties on the State Board of Education, including Erath, Palo Pinto, Comanche, Eastland, Hamilton and Bosque.  
The event is open to the public and local citizens are encouraged to attend.   
Prepaid reservations are required and can be purchased at Eventbrite.

Dublin Elementary Pre-K, Kinder Registration

Dublin Elementary School will be hosting Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. April 29 and 30. Pre-K must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 and Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. You need birth certificate, immunization record, social security card, proof of residency and proof of income (for Pre-K). Parents will need an email to setup Parent Portal.

April Dublin Market set April 20 
Plan now to enjoy a pleasant spring morning at the Dublin Market, Wright Park, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Comanche Museum hosting Frontier Day
The Comanche County Museum is excited to invite everyone to an “Old-Fashioned Frontier Day” at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20. The event is rain or shine.
There will be an opening flag ceremony, storytelling by Deborah Nowlin Keith with her mules,  a demonstration of spinning and weaving by John and Ingrid Nabors, a chuckwagon, a petting zoo of 4-H animals, a scavenger hunt,  a 1905 Cadillac, outdoor games, refreshments and   and guests can come inside and check out the new interactive touch screen experience kiosk.
