A two vehicle accident on Tuesday, Feb. 9 claimed the life of Jada L. Permann of Dublin according to a report by Texas Department of Public Safety.

Permann was recognized by Erath County Humane Society as an active supporter who went “above and beyond” on the organization’s Facebook page.

“She fostered for us.; Paid for animals to be spayed/neutered; Brought the employees here food & thanked us for the work we do,” the post said. ”She made us laugh. She helped so many. She was taken away too soon. We will miss you Jada.”

According to the DPS report, Permann was driving south at approximately 8:55 p.m. in a 2011 Chevrolet HHR on US67 near Dublin. The report indicated she was traveling behind a 2002 Mack semi truck towing a trailer, and as the truck slowed to turn right into a business parking lot, she struck the rear of the trailer.

Permann reportedly died at the scene. The driver of the Mack, Jose A. Rivera, 38, of Hockley, was not injured.

Those wishing to honor Permann can do so with donations of cash or dog/cat food to the Erath County Humane Society.
