1,800+ lose power following failure
An equipment failure left more than 1,800 customers in the area without power on June 19.
Oncor Electric reported that the issues started at a feeder in the substation which blinked four times (at 11:17 a.m., 11:18 a.m., 12:11 p.m. and 12:19 p.m. before it completely shut down at 12:40 p.m.
Crew immediately responded to the problem. Within 20 minutes, 717 of the affected customers had power restored. The other 1,164 customers had power restored at 2:03 p.m.
