Voting moves to First Methodist

Early voting for the Saturday, May 4 local election has started and a voting location change has occurred for Dublin voters trying to cast their ballots for the mayoral race along with two city council seats.

Early voting will be held at First Methodist Church (630 Highland Avenue in Dublin) and the new Erath County Annex (222 E. College St. in Stephenville).

The ballot will include mayoral candidates incumbent mayor David Leatherwood and challenger John Staud, Place 2 City Council incumbent candidate Orion Gallagher and challenger Nancy Williams and a Place 4 city councilmember race between Jacob McCullough and Tyson Lueck.

Early voting may be done from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25; 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 26; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 29Tuesday, April 30.

Election Day voting will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 4.

Vote centers are used on Election Day so voters can cast their ballot at any location regarding of what precinct they reside in.

Locations for Election Day include: First Methodist Church of Dublin, the new County Annex, Texas Bank (9888 Wolfe Nursery Road in Stephenville), Morgan Mill Community Center (406 CR 156 in Stephenville), Bluff Dale Community Center (175 Holt in Bluff Dale) and Huckabay ISD Cafeteria (200 CR 421 in Stephenville).

The city of Stephenville, Stephenville ISD, Bluff Dale ISD, Huckabay ISD, Morgan ISD and Three Way ISD will also all have elections on the May 4 ballot.
