Revitalize Dublin invites everyone to join them for the first clean up of 2024 on Saturday, April 13 starting at 8:30 a.m. to noon at 546 S. Camden.

“We are coming together as a community to help our neighbor in need,” organizers said.

“Ms. Teri is a widow who is in need of help with some yard work. This job will consist of moving a lot of limbs and logs that have fallen into her backyard. We will also mow and weed-eat around the house to give it a make-over for spring. I’m sure that Ms. Teri would take some pots of flowers for her yard if anyone wants to donate a few.”

The group is working with the city to secure a wood chipper for lots of mulch, so if you are in need of mulch, you should definitely come out and bring something to haul your mulch home in.

Tools needed for this job are: lawnmowers, weed-eaters, chainsaws, trailers, rakes, leaf blowers, gloves and long pants. Several members of the Dublin, Texas Lions Club and some of the candidates for Dublin City Council will be in attendance.

“We’ve invited several other organizations within the community also we are hoping that Dublin can work together towards progression to get more accomplished in 2024,” organizer Lori Beggs said.

“Please consider joining us at 8:30 on April 13th for this volunteer opportunity. Please reach out if you have questions OR if you know of a neighbor in need. We are here to unite the community and make it a better place for all of us,” Revitalize Dublin organizers said.
