A cowboy Christmas is on tap as the Dublin Chamber of Commerce presents its annual Lighted Christmas Parade and a slew of other events Saturday, Dec. 2 in Dublin.

Those interested in participating are encouraged to use Christmas lights to decorate their vehicles in the parade, which will start at 6 p.m. and travel downtown through the normal Dublin parade route. Registration for the parade is free and can be completed on the Dublin Chamber’s website and Facebook page. Line-up will start at 5 p.m. at the old football stadium on North Post Oak.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lilly G Productions will present Cowboy Santa Christmas at Doublin’ In in downtown Dublin (110 E. Elm Street).

Those wanting to be vendors, can do so for the cost of one new, unwrapped toy. Contact 254-459-0141 for more information on becoming a vendor for the event.

During the event there will be drawings every hour for a free ham and turkey (must be present to win), along with a drawing for a boys and girls bicycle.

There will also be photos with Santa, live music and more. The Dublin Rodeo Heritage Association will be presenting a coffee and cocoa bar.
