Those who love bikes may be interested in the upcoming Drug Awareness Program Bike Show hosted by the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge.

The event will kick off Saturday, April 29 at Celebration Park in downtown Dublin next to Dublin Bottling Works.

The event will include both a bike show and a clue run, which will cost $20 each for cyclists.

The clue run will allow bikers to travel to various places in Erath County and the surrounding area to hunt for clues.

“A lot of bikers want to ride, not just participate in a show so we thought we would give them that option,” organizer James Dunbar said.

Registration for the clue run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the run will begin around 10 a.m.

The show will begin at 1 p.m. and is open to the public. There will also be vendors at the show. Bikers can register any time the day of the event after 8:30 p.m.

As a former law enforcement officer, Dunbar is passionate about getting the word out about illegal drugs.

For those interested in pre-registering in either the show or the ride, you can either email elksdap2834@gmail.com or text 405-4962304.
