Easter is right around the corner and Dublin’s second annual Easter Eggstravaganza is once again on, offering all the Easter fun a City Park can handle.
The event is set for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8 at Dublin’s City Park.
This year’s lead sponsor is the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No. 2834, with assistance from organizers at Dairy Queen and the Dublin Citizen.
“We couldn’t do this without support from the community and we are so excited that the Elk’s Lodge is the lead sponsor this year,” organizer and DQ manager Shanna Phelps said.
The hunt will be divided by age but begin all at the same time. Age groups are birth to pre-K, K-3rd grade and 4th through 6th grade group.
Each group will have prize eggs for Easter baskets and one lucky group will have a small Blizzard for a year as one of the prizes!
The event will include a chance to have photos taken with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, free popcorn and cotton candy and a live treat auction.
The group is also seeking sponsorship, either financially or by purchasing filled eggs. (Please no chocolate inside the eggs). If you do not want to fill the eggs yourself, please donate empty eggs and candy to fill them.
Eggs can be dropped at the newspaper office or at Dairy Queen.
