Mac & Cheese cook off set April 20 
There will be a Mac & Cheese cook off for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erath County at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Bosque River Taphouse, located to 1050 S. Graham Ave. in Stephenville. Email smcneal@bbbstx.org with any questions.

Dublin Elementary Pre-K, Kinder Registration

Dublin Elementary School will be hosting Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. April 29 and 30. Pre-K must be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 and Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. You need birth certificate, immunization record, social security card, proof of residency and proof of income (for Pre-K). Parents will need an email to setup Parent Portal.

Bilingual Summer School Parent meeting 
There will be a Pre-K and Kinder Bilingual Summer School Parent meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 at the Dublin Elementary School Cafeteria.

Comanche Museum to host art show 
The Comanche County Museum is excited to invite local artisans to show their art: handcrafted ( table top or wall size) paintings, or drawings, needlework or stitching; children or adults.

The show will be May 1-9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Please bring your own easels for large pieces. For more information call the museum at 325-356-5115.

The museum is located at 402 Moorman Rd. in Comanche, West of Bayer Motor Co.

All art must be picked Thursday, May 9.

ECGS hosts Cemetery Preservation workshop
All are invited to hear Cindy Shipman speak about Cemetery Preservation and Erath County Cemeteries at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Dublin Public Library.

Hosted by Erath County Genealogical Society, Cindy will share where to find cemetery location maps, discuss cleaning headstones and grave dowsing, and answer questions. 

Serving as Erath County Historical Commission Cemetery Preservation Chair, Cindy has visited over 75 Erath County cemeteries in the past year. Please come out to hear her speak on this requested topic. For more information, contact Sheryl Rascher (817) 680-5691 ecgs.dpl@gmail.com.

Highland Community Center Fundraiser
There will be a fundraiser for the Highland Community Center from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 27.
There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, chips, dessert and bottled drinks.
Meals are served for donations to help pay the electric bill.
The community center is located eight miles west of Dublin on Farm-to-Market 2156.

Comanche Museum hosting Frontier Day
The Comanche County Museum is excited to invite everyone to an “Old-Fashioned Frontier Day” at the museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20. The event is rain or shine.
There will be an opening flag ceremony, storytelling by Deborah Nowlin Keith with her mules,  a demonstration of spinning and weaving by John and Ingrid Nabors, a chuckwagon, a petting zoo of 4-H animals, a scavenger hunt,  a 1905 Cadillac, outdoor games, refreshments and   and guests can come inside and check out the new interactive touch screen experience kiosk.
