Cross Timbers Got Talent set April 12
Restoration Advocates is hosting a fundraising event 7 p.m. Friday, April 12 at City Hall venue in Stephenville.
They are calling all singers, dancers, musicians and comedians to participate.
City Hall is located at 1907 East Washington Street. The talent show will raise funds for shelter and resources for victims of domestic violence.
Tickets are $25 each and available online at restorationadvocates.org.
Harbin VFD to host Fish Fry fundraiser
The Harbin Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a fish fry fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Harbin VFD Fire Station.
Plates are by monetary donations and there is also a raffle with tickets being sold at the door. Raffle tickets are $20 each with a chance to win three prizes.
Harbin VFD is located at 8135 FM 847.
Shamrock Shootout Tourney Saturday
The Dublin Disc Golf Club will be hosting its annual Shamrock Shootout Doubles Tournament starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at Dublin City Park.
The tournament is $30 per person with $5 going into one ace pot for all divisions. Divisions include beginner, advanced and open. There will be two rounds on the 19-hole course.
Eggstravaganza set for Saturday, March 30
The annual Dublin Eggstravaganza is set for 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 30 in the Dublin City Park.
The free event will include four age groups for hunting: birth-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. All hunts begin at 9:30 a.m. and kids are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to gather plastic, candy-filled eggs.
Those who wish to recycle their eggs may do so at the event to be reused in next year’s event.
The Easter Bunny will be on site for photos and their will be free water, hotdogs, popcorn and other treats for kids. Prize baskets will be awarded in each age group.
Desdemona center hosts sewing center
The Desdemona Activity Center has several activities planned for March.
On Monday, March 25 there will be a sewing circle from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The center is located at 6035 FM 8 in Desdemona and events are open to all ages.
Mac & Cheese cook off set April 20
There will be a Mac & Cheese cook off for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Erath County at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at the Bosque River Taphouse, located to 1050 S. Graham Avenue in Stephenville.
