Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser set Thursday 
Erath County Heroes with Handbags Designer Purse Bingo will be held Thursday, May 23 from 5-9 p.m. as a fundraiser for the Paluxy River Children's Advocacy Center at Tarleton State University.

There will be an evening of law enforcement and first responders modeling with designer handbags along with a lively game of Bingo.

The event will be held at the Tarleton State University Student Center, located 635 N. Lillian. Doors open at 5 p.m. for the buffet and raffle, with bingo starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online or at the door. There will be 15 designer purses up for grabs and a drawing for a Gucci GG Marmont leather super mini bag.

Memorial Day flag placement in Lingleville 
Those who wish to remember those who served are invited to place flags at Lingleville Cemeteries at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25.

Volunteers will meet at Lingleville East End Cemetery first and then go to Lingleville West End Cemetery.

U.S. flags will be provided.

DeLeon Museum to showcase art
“That’s Art”  will be  at the DeLeon Area Historical Museum from now through Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
Art comes in many forms.  It might be oil painting, water color, pastels, charcoal, wood work, needlework, pottery, stained glass, metal work, leather, and much more.  It can be old or new.  It can be something you created, something passed down in your family or something you purchased.  It can be something you treasure or not.  
It is not judged; it is simply a show that is open for anyone.  The art may be brought to the Museum, 173 N. Texas Street, by noon Wednesday, May 22.  

Summer Meals Program offered
Dublin ISD will once again be hosting their summer meals program at Dublin Intermediate School from Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 27 Monday through Thursday.
Children and teens ages 18 and younger and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old can eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost.
Breakfast is served Monday through Thursday from 7-8 a.m. and Lunch Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Library seeking Back to School Fair donations
The Dublin Public Library is seeking donations for its annual Back-to-School Fair set for July 27. 
Donations needed include hygiene items (such as hand sanitizer, chapstick, deodorant, shampoo etc.) Clorox wipes and tissue as well as new socks, along with new or like-new makeup  bags.
Financial donations are also being accepted.
Donations can be dropped off at the Dublin Public Library from now through July 20.
The library is located at 206 W. Blackjack St.
