April 6 event slated

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce has set a Solar Shamrock Festival for Saturday, April 6 as a St. Patrick’s day redux since the chamber’s activities were rained out.

There will be an opening ceremony for Dublin Baseball and Softball Association at the City Park from 9-10 a.m., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. vendors will be open, at 10 a.m. a fly-in will begin at the city of Dublin Municipal Park, DBSA games will take place from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., a cornhole tournament will begin at noon and at 4 p.m. Barrel Racing will start hosted by Lilly G. Arena Productions.

The parade, car show and mobile dairy classroom from the St. Patrick’s Day festival will not be rescheduled.
