2023 rains rebound from dry 2022

Dublin saw an increase in rain with about 15 inches more in 2023 than in 2022.

Rainfall for Dublin, as collected and reported by the Dublin Citizen every week on page A4, was at 38.35, much higher than 2022, which was 22.5.

Rainfall for 2021 was 40.4 inches in.; 36.75 was collected in 2020 and 39.75 in. in 2019.

It is also a little bit higher than the historical average of 35.7 inches for the city.

Weather forecasts are predicting 2024 to be the year that the majority of Texas will make up for the drought that has led most of the state for years on end.
