Daily COVID Report - Sept. 11, 2020
Erath County officials reported four new cases of COVID-19 in the report from Thursday night (Sept. 10). Three of these new positive cases were from within the city limits of Stephenville and one was a rural resident of the county.
Total COVID-19 cases increased by 44 (607 to 651) in the week from the Sept. 4 update to Thursday night’s report, while active cases decreased by 19 standing at 120 on Sept. 4 and 101 a week later.
Recovered cases were reported at 545 on Thursday, up from 482 from the week before.
Reported deaths in patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 since March have remained at five and the total number of Erath patients confirmed with COVID-19 hospitalized since March remains at 23.
County officials remind residents that according to the Texas Department of State Health Services, there are things everyone can do to help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Wear a face covering in public
- Stay six feet apart
- Wash or sanitize hands often
- If sick, get tested and stay at home
- Stay home when possible
