Saturday was “The Daughter of Devil Dan”, a Stirring Romance of “Old Kentucky” and “Barnyard Follies” featuring the Sunshine Girls. Monday was “The Cheater Reformed” with William Russell and “The Trouble Hunter”, a Jimmy Aubrey Comedy. Tuesday was “The Marriage Pit” with Frank Mayo. Wednesday was Jewell Carmen in “The Silver Lining”. Thursday was “The Luck of the Irish”.

The headline across the Dublin Progress said “Dublin Rodeo to be held May 3, 4, 5”. This event was a week later than past years to give workers more time to complete the Colborn Bowl, which was to seat 10,000.
50 years
March 4, 1971 A photo of Dubliner J.H. Fair is seen with a plaque honoring him as the Texas Peanut Champion, for being a champion peanut producer in Texas. Pictured with Fair was his wife Betty and Elenco Products Company sales representative, W.M. Savage, who presented the award.
