This weekend is the premiere of the holidays and there is no shortage of things to do, after residents have had their fill of turkey.
Holiday in the Park, opening weekend
During the opening weekend for Holiday in the Park at the Stephenville/Dublin KOA located at 1205 North FM 219, there will be a Santa Meet and Greet, live music with Holli Garet, petting zoo, bounce house, kids games, park lighting, food and drinks, crafts and more. Events are set from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1 and admission is free.
Free leather ornament workshop
Locked and Loaded will be hosting a free leather workshop for all ages at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.
Come build memories and a keepsake Christmas ornament. You will learn about the history of leather making, stitching and tooling while making an adorable reindeer.

ChristmasVille in Stephenville
This Saturday, Stephenville Main Street will host its annual Christmasville festivities in downtown Stephenville.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there will be a chili cook off, local shopping all day, live music from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., ugly sweater contest at 2 p.m., carriage rides from noon to 5 p.m., and a lighted Christmas parade at 6 p.m. with fireworks following afterwards.
Santa and Mrs. Claus have said they will be visiting the following places 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Greers, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cowboy Way Travel, 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Peace, Love and Good Hair and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Blue Eyed Buffalo.
