A slew of holiday events are right around the corner and citizens are encouraged to mark their calendars so they don’t miss out on any holiday fun.

Weekend of Nov. 29-Dec. 1

Holiday in the Park, opening weekend

During the opening weekend for Holiday in the Park at the Stephenville/ Dublin KOA located at 1205 North FM 219, there will be a Santa Meet and Greet, live music with Holli Garet, petting zoo, bounce house, kids games, park lighting, food and drinks, crafts and more. Events are set from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day and admission is free.

Free leather ornament workshop – Nov. 30 Locked and Loaded will be hosting a free leather workshop for all ages at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30.

Come build memories and a keepsake Christmas ornament. You will learn about the history of leather making, stitching and tooling while making an adorable reindeer.

Weekend of Dec. 7-8 The Dublin Chamber of Commerce is planning a busy opening for the Christmas season with myriad events for its Christmas Market in downtown Dublin Saturday, Dec. 7. The event features a visit with Santa, live music, festive food, shopping, parade, bounce houses and petting zoo. Events are set from noon until 10 p.m.

Photos with Santa, Dec. 7 Photos with Santa will be offered at CWJC/ Transformation Pathway from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 7.

Parents and kids are encouraged to stop by and visit with Santa, and have their pictures taken.

CWJC is located at 106 N. Patrick in downtown Dublin.

Tour of Homes, Dec. 8 The Dublin Garden Club will be hosting its annual Christmas Tour of Homes from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.

Homes for the tour will include the Steven Chambers’ home (1069 CR 305), Roxanne McInroe’s home (502 W. Clinton St.), Denise Weems’ home (203 N. Davies St.), William T. Miller Grist Mill (Corner of West Elm Street and South Park Street) and The Little Church of Grafton (301 N. Grafton).

Refreshments will be served here during and after the tour from 2-5:30 p. m.

Tickets are $15 each or two for $25, and can be purchased in advance from any Dublin Garden Club member, Dublin Floral, Dublin Insurance Agency, Titan Fitness, or the day of the tour from any home on the tour.

The event acts as a fundraiser for the club’s annual DISD scholarship.

Holiday in the Park, Dec. 6-8

There will be a Farmers Market weekend Friday, Dec. 6- Sunday, Dec. 8 at Holiday in the Park at the Stephenville/Dublin KOA located at 1205 North FM 219.

From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., there will be cookies with Santa, a Christmas Village, bounce house, kids games, food trucks and a candy cane hunt. Admission is free.

Jingle Bell Bash, Tuesday, Dec. 10 The Dublin PTO is inviting students and the community to a night full of joy, laughter and festive fun from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10 at the Dublin Intermediate Cafeteria.

Tickets ($1 each) will be available for purchase. Events include Santa/ Grinch, Christmas Craft stations, ornament decorating, cookie decorating, hot cocoa bar and more!
