Sept. 12

A person in the station reported a neighbor’s dog keeps coming on the property to kill his sheep. Call was referred to animal control/code enforcement.

There was a verbal disturbance between a male and female in the 500 block of South Park. When officers arrived on scene parties were separated.

A telephone pole was reported to Oncor as leaning in the 500 block of East Burnette since the reporting person was afraid it was going to fall on her house.

Sept. 13

Information was requested on the noise ordinance since railroad workers were banging on the railway cars.

A person’s cattle were being chased by dogs, and he needed info on what to do. Call referred to animal control/code enforcement.

A large piece of wood was in the passing lane on 377 Loop.

Sept. 14

There was a report of a white Ford pickup yelling on a PA speaker on U.S. 377 South. Officer could not locate the truck.

Sept. 15

A report was made about a red Chevy that had been sitting on the side of the road for four days. Officer checked license plate and contacted the owner.

There was a report of a horse out on 377 South but the officer could not locate the horse.

Sept. 16

A reporting person advised there was a dog barking in the 400 Block of West Liveoak and she is worried something may be wrong. Officer came to the area and the dog was simply barking, no suspicious activity observed.

Dublin PD assisted Bosque County when they stated they had a vehicle take off from Iredell with a gas nozzle hose still attached. The vehicle never arrived in Dublin.

A reckless driver was reported on Hwy. 377 that was swerving all over the road. Officers could not locate the vehicle.

There was a verbal altercation at Relax Inn. Parties had been drinking and agreed to go in and get some rest.

Officers stayed with employee closing Biggs due to reported suspicious activity at closing time.

A possible disturbance was reported in the 800 block of Courtney. A disturbance was not located just three individuals who lost their keys and then found them.

Someone tried to open a reporting person’s door in the 600 block of Ireland and continued to knock, then moved onto the neighbor’s house. Officers checked area and no one was located.

Sept. 17

An officer checked on a vehicle with its hazards on in the 900 block of East Elm. The officer spoke with them and they are picking up some things from the residence.

A reporting person advised a male subject was attempting to get a female to do sexual things with him. Officers spoke with the reporting person and victim and found the male subject in the room which is not his. Michael Jeffrey was placed under arrest for assault causing bodily injury and criminal trespass.

A reporting person found out who hit her fence in the 300 block of Vine. Officer spoke with reporting person and the guardian of the son who hit the fence and he agreed to fix the damages.

Sept. 18

An officer checked on a vehicle in a church parking lot and contact was made with a male subject. They worked for construction and were disposing of trash on the trailer.

A fire hydrant was spewing water into the road on Highland Avenue. Public Works were flushing the lines.

A milk truck ran him off the road into oncoming traffic on East Highway 6. No injuries were reported. Officer made contact with the truck driver and he advised he was almost ran off the road as well but everything was OK.
