Comanche County Predator Control Association

For those that are not aware Comanche County has a Predator Control Association that includes a full-time trapper.

While we will never trap or eradicate all predators and certainly not all feral hogs, this association and the trapper do work hard to help lower the numbers to at least a more manageable number.

As you can imagine with the continual increase in feral hogs the workload has increased significantly, but the trapper does still work hard to reach everyone, regardless of the issue.

The County Predator Association is made up of local farmers, ranchers, and landowners.

They have been working hard to purchase new traps and other equipment to help make the trapper more efficient.

They have also been working to be sure they are providing services to more folks from all points of the county.

This association provides a very valuable service to county landowners at a very small cost, especially considering the cost of livestock these days and the cost to repair damage that we all know feral hogs can inflict on crops and fields.

The association does need more members and support to be able to increase the services they can provide. Below is the fee schedule to join the association for 1 year.
