Athletes honored at banquet

More than 300 people crammed into the high school gym May 4 to honor the 2017-18 athletes for their accomplishments. 
Seniors Ethan Price and Joley Chisholm (pictured) won the Dublin Citizen Athletes of the Year, presented by Dublin Citizen Publisher Scott Dykowski.
The Fighting Heart award went to senior Tim Teten and sophomore Jordyn Ricks, presented by Athletic Director Bob Cervetto. 
Each player, including the cheerleaders and athlete student trainers, was recognized and all-district awards and academic all-district and all-state awards were presented.
Individual awards were given in each sport, as well.
