Lady Cards wins two more

The Lady Cardinals clenched two more victories on the home court this week.

On Tuesday, the ladies faced the Gustine Tigers who held strong for the first two sets, putting up 17 points in each. Lingleville finally fatigued them in the third, though, as the home team only let them rack up 8 before scoring their final 25.

This win followed a nail-biter against the DeLeon Bearcats on Saturday.

The Lady Cards took the first two sets with DeLeon earning 20 and 22 points before they were ended. The visitors fired back by winning the third and fourth sets with Lingleville putting up 19 and 15 points in those. The Lady Cards were able to regain control for the deciding fifth set, though, only allowing the Lady Bearcats to score 8 before they locked the game-winning 15.

The Lady Cards will next travel to Mullin on Saturday to face the Lady Bulldogs  at 10 a.m.
