Lingleville benefit offers fun night

A Lingleville Strong Family Fun Night has been set for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at Lingleville High School to benefit the families of three girls who were recently injured in a car accident.

The evening will kick off with a mile-long fun run/walk. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m. with runners taking off at 6 p.m. Cost to enter is $5. Kids age 6 and younger are free.

A BBQ supper featuring BBQ sandwiches and hot dogs will be served. Cost for the meal is by donation.

The event will also feature free entertainment, such as live music, and kids’ activities, such as a bounce house, face painting and more. Those with a sweet tooth can also enter the cake walk for $1.

A silent auction will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. and a live auction will start at 7:30 p.m. A raffle will also be conducted with a $10 ticket giving guests a chance to win one of five prizes: a fire pit, four Rangers tickets, a pampering basket, a Wal-Mart gift card and a Summer fun pack.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
