Electronic recycling in Erath this weekend
Erath County and Stephenville residents are being given the opportunity to recycle their old and useless computers and electronics.
Dublin area residents can bring their old devices to the Dublin Annex (219 S. Grafton) Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On Saturday, Stephenville community residents can bring their electronics to the municipal service center (1201 Glen Rose, Highway 67) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These recycling events are open to city and county residents until trucks are full.
Items that can be recycled for free include: computers, laptops, cellphones, servers, racking, printers, fax machines, copiers, routers, switches, cabling, phone systems, stereos, speakers, DVD players, VCRs, LCD TVs, cameras, digital cameras, lab and light industrial equipment, car batteries, metals, plastics, gaming consoles and more.
CRT monitors are limited to one per household. (Each additional CRT monitor is $7.)
Box TVs can also be accepted for a fee of $20 each.
Cash only will be accepted onsite.
Recycling services are being provided by RAKI Computers Recycling and R2 Responsible Recycling.
