BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water stained; 68 degrees; 8.95 feet below pool. Black bass to 8.48 pounds are excellent on jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits in 3-12 feet of water. Most of the bass are in a post spawn transition. Crappie are good in the cove pockets with black and chartreuse jigs, and in brush piles out to 10-12 feet on minnows. Some fish are spawning and a few post spawn. White bass are good on crankbaits and small swimbaits in the lights late in the day, and the bite is slow during the day. Catfish are good on cut or prepared bait around the flats

GRANBURY

GOOD. Water clear; 70 degrees; 0.02 feet below pool. Some creeks are stained after the recent rains. There is some floating debris, so be careful out there. Best fishing reports are for the sand bass on slabs fished from Blue Water Shores to the area in town by the swim beach. Striped bass are slow to fair on live bait fished from Decordova estates to the dam. Largemouth bass are fair to good to 7 pounds on the beds in most area creeks and sloughs. Blue and yellow catfish are good on cut bait fished from in town to Hunter Park. Crappie are good on minnows and small jigs fished under a cork in the backs of the creeks near docks and rip rap.

POSSUM KINGDOM

FAIR. Water clear; 67 degrees; 0.04 feet below pool. Striped bass are fair to good with live shad, or trolling in 30-50 feet of water. Good colors are white, chartreuse, and silver. Sand bass are fair to slow in 10-20 feet of water with live shad, small slabs and jigs white, and silver are good colors. Catfish are good in 2-10 feet of water or 40-60 feet of water with cut shad. Water clarity is steady at 4-10 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

GOOD. Water normal stain; 65 degrees; 12.20 feet below pool. Fishing patterns are holding steady with more anglers fishing from the shore and kayaks. Catfish, hybrids and crappie are fair to good on the banks and near the dam. Largemouth bass can be caught on soft plastics. Ramps are closed, but it is possible to launch a boat from the gravel at Buffalo Springs. Fishing from a kayak is possible.

WEATHERFORD

FAIR. Water heavily stained; 72 degrees; 4.61 feet below pool. Fishing patterns are holding steady. A few smaller size crappie at the house or shallow on rocks, and some have transitioned to deeper water brush piles with minnows or jigs. Bass are slow with a few late spawners shallow, but most are post spawn on chatterbaitsandspinnerbaits. Catfish are fair on the main lake with cut bait
