  • Elizabeth Reed, Ryan DiCiccio and Makayla Facio competed at the Region UIL Academic meet in Abilene Saturday. Ryan and Lizzie advanced to finals where Ryan placed 8th in Prose and Lizzie placed 2nd in Poetry, earning a spot to compete at the State UIL Academic meet in Austin, May 13-15. The Dublin Theatre Department will do a final public performance of its UIL One Act Play at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 6 and each of these students will also perform the pieces they competed with.
