Dublin ISD Future Problem Solving (FPS) students participated in The State FPS Bowl in Waco April 13.

“We are so proud of the hard work our students put into FPS,” FPS sponsor Katrina Brewster said.

The following teams and individuals had qualified to compete: 

■ High School Team comprised of Mariana Ortiz, Jaclyn Gibson, Lucas Azua and Caden Vanbebber.

■ High school individuals NavaLee White and David Hernandez

■ Middle School Team comprised of Paxton Loper, Issac Puerta and Eloy Vargas.

■ Middle School Team comprised of Jayden Meador, Zoey Soria and Kloie Whiteley.

■ Junior team comprised of Jaxon Salinas, Analeah Ortega and Gustabo Ortiz.

■ Junior Team comprised of Laney Benfer, Jacob Parsons, Abigail Ratliff and Liam Gill.

■ Eli Mitchell and Isabel Puerta both competed as junior individuals. (Puerta received 4th place as an individual.)

■ Novice Team comprised of Eveyln Akard, Gemma Gill, Jaxon Vauthier and Jaron Winborn Lucas Azua, Mariana Ortiz and Jaclyn Gibson all received their senior cords for participating.
