FFA Marketing team takes 6th at State
NavaLee White, Nicole Foster and Mariana Ortiz placed sixth (out of 24 teams) in the state FFA Market Plan competition at Sam Houston State University last week. The trio worked with the Volleman family to learn about marketing techniques, business proposals and budgeting in preparation for the competition. To compete, the team of three have to research and propose a business plan and marketing strategy. The team also competed at the Yoakum Agribusiness and Longview Agribusiness invitationals, earning 2nd at Yoakum and 3rd at Longview.
