Have you always wanted to garden but didn’t know where to start?

Tarrant Area Food Bank is offering a chance to learn in Gardening for Health, a 4-part free, hands-on class set for 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on May 16 and May 23 at the Dublin Public Library.

Students can expect to learn to plan a simple vegetable garden, start seeds indoors, grow in a container and other skills that can improve health while growing food. Those interested need to text 254-938-8177 to preregister. Space is limited!

The weekly Toddler time for children 6 months to 24 months is held Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Workforce Solutions will return on Friday, May 3 at 2 p.m. to offer education and assistance to career seekers and employers about programs they have to benefit both.

Makerspace Hour will be held Friday, May 3 with a fun STEM-centered activity for local youth.

The Crimes and Clues Book Club is reading “My Best Friend’s Exorcism” by Grady Hendrix. They will discuss it at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3.

Lyndi Hannah and a furry friend will be back in the library Saturday, May 4 for Barks and Books at 11 a.m., allowing chrildren to practice reading to an attentive therapy dog.

Anyone is welcome to join the book clubs.

The Library is located at 206 W. Blackjack. Is is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
